We know that engaging content is the key to digital marketing success, specifically for SEO in Albuquerque. But for many small business owners, the problem is finding enough time to create it. The amount of content needed to keep results consistent can seem daunting when you’re preoccupied with running a business and serving your customers.

Creating consistent blog posts and videos might sound impossible but don’t worry here are 4 simple techniques that will have you producing tons of quality content in no time:

    • Plan Ahead:

In order to create the amount of content needed to grow your business online you’ll need to create a plan. Planning reduces stress and helps you focus. Identify short term goals, analyze the best tactics with which to achieve them, and schedule your content development for the next 6 to 12 months. Make a commitment to writing daily even if it’s only for 20 minutes. While it might not seem like much at first, your efforts will build over time, leading to more creativity and better ideas for fresh new content. You can even use a project management system like Basecamp to streamline the process.

    • Batch Content Production:

Admit it; we all have the tendency to edit the content as we write it. But that’s not efficient. It’s easier to break the content creation process into three batches or phases:

    1. Outline:

The first step to creating great content is to make a great outline. Get your creative ideas on paper and organize them before you start the writing process. This helps save time and energy. This is also the time to create subheadings. Remember an outline can always be changed or adjusted it just serves as a guide to organize your ideas.

         2. Produce:

Now, write the body of the piece using those subheadings, but don’t edit it just yet. For now, ignore the typos & sentence errors, and simply pay attention to your thoughts and ideas. Once you’re done you can go back and fix everything.

          3. Edit:

This is the time to refine your content. Remember to always keep your reader in mind, use an active voice, eliminate industry jargon, take out complicated words, fix grammatical and spelling errors. It’s important to focus and to avoid as many distractions as possible. Editing is a difficult process; your mind must be completely engaged.

    • Work together:

Collaborating with partners can reduce your workload substantially. It helps expand the reach of your content and is mutually beneficial for your partner. You can provide value for your collaborators, by linking to their websites and social media profiles, or even promoting the content created by them.

    1. Repurpose:

Another awesome way to produce more content is by utilizing your existing content. Yes, you can repurpose any of your blog posts into a podcast or video, or even rewrite it as a guest post on another website.

When it comes to content creation, remember to make it unique and cater to the needs of your audience. Hopefully, these tips will help you produce loads of fresh content you can use for SEO in Albuquerque. Good luck with the writing process and remember to focus on your customers.
